Your First Visit 
Your first visit to Sterling Dental Care typically includes X-rays and an exam that allows Dr. Malaker to view the structure of your jaw, the position of any teeth that have not yet erupted, gum health, oral cancer screening, malformed roots, and tooth decay.
The initial visit also involves collecting your medical history. When you share your medical history with Dr. Malaker, be sure to provide complete, up-to-date information on your health. Inform him if you have experienced recent hospitalization or surgery, or if you have recently been ill. Also tell Dr. Malaker the names, doses and frequency of any medications you are taking — whether prescription or over-the-counter products — and the name of your physician. Inform him of any changes in your health or medications. This information will help him to select the safest and most effective method of treatment for you. Consultation After Dr. Malaker has evaluated you records, we will discuss all possible avenues of treatment and follow up with you in detail, including the costs associated in your particular case. Regular Appointments Regular checkup appointments typically take 30 to 45 minutes. Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. We understand that sometimes it is necessary to cancel or reschedule appointments and ask that you give us at least a 48 hour notice whenever possible. A fee will be assessed for late cancellations. |
